Policy Agreement


Service Agreement
This Master Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Miss Allie’s Pet Care ("Company") and the undersigned client ("Client"). This Agreement governs all pet care services provided by the Company and incorporates the Payment Terms and Cancellation Policy herein.

1. Definitions
Company: Miss Allie’s Pet Care
Client: The undersigned pet owner or authorized representative
Services: Pet sitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, and related pet care services
Peak Times: High-demand periods including but not limited to the following holidays, Labor day and Memorial day weekends, spring break, June 30–July 5, November 15–30, December 15–31, and January 1–7
AutoPay: Automatic billing to a credit/debit card or ACH payment method on file

2. Services & Standard of Care
The Company agrees to provide Services in a reliable, caring, and professional manner. The Company shall exercise reasonable care in the performance of Services but does not guarantee the health, safety, or behavior of Client’s pet(s).

3. Limitation of Liability
Client waives and releases the Company, its owner, employees, and representatives from any and all claims, except those arising from the Company’s negligence or willful misconduct. The Company is not responsible for injury, illness, escape, loss, accidents, or death of Client’s pet(s) unless caused by negligence or willful misconduct.

4. Veterinary Care & Emergencies
Client authorizes the Company to obtain veterinary care for Client’s pet(s) if deemed necessary in the Company’s sole discretion. Client assumes full financial responsibility for all veterinary care, treatment, transportation, and related expenses.

5. Client Responsibilities
Client agrees to:
Provide accurate pet and household information
Supply all necessary food, medications, identification tags, collars/harnesses, leashes, litter boxes, litter, and cleaning supplies
Properly secure the home prior to departure
Client authorizes the Company to purchase necessary supplies if required. All such costs must be reimbursed within two (2) days.

6. Home Access & Security
Client authorizes the Company to enter the listed address as needed to perform Services. The Company will make reasonable efforts to re-secure the home at the conclusion of each visit but is not responsible for damages beyond its control, including burglary or other criminal acts.

7. Payment Terms
7.1 Accepted Payment Methods
The Company accepts Venmo, Credit/Debit Cards, and ACH payments.
7.2 Payment Method on File
Client agrees to maintain a valid credit card, debit card, or ACH payment method on file at all times. Removal without immediate replacement will result in suspension of Services.
7.3 Payment Due Dates
Payment is due at or prior to the time Services are performed. For pet sitting Services, payment is due on the first day of service unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
7.4 Non-Refundable Fees
All fees are non-refundable, including completed Services, late cancellations, and reserved time.

8. Automatic Payments (AutoPay)
Clients enrolled in AutoPay authorize the Company to automatically charge the payment method on file for all current and future invoices.
AutoPay processes weekly at 10:00 AM PST on the first day of service each week

9. Late, Failed, or Declined Payments
Any payment not received by the due date is considered late and may result in immediate suspension of Services.
If a payment is declined, returned, or fails for any reason:
Client authorizes the Company to re-attempt processing
Client agrees to promptly provide an alternative valid payment method
Services may be suspended until payment is successfully processed
A $25 administrative fee may be assessed for each failed or returned payment.
Outstanding balances must be paid in full before future Services are scheduled or performed.

10. Cancellation Policy
10.1 Pet/House Sitting – Non-Peak Times
Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. Late cancellations will incur a fee of 30% of the total stay.
10.2 Pet/House Sitting – Peak Times
Less than 7 days’ notice: 50% of total stay
Less than 3 days’ notice: 75% of total stay
Less than 24 hours' notice: 100% of total stay
10.3 Dog Walking & Drop-In Visits
Less than 24 hours' notice requires 100% of total visit
Peak times: Less than 72 hours' notice requires 50% of total visit

Cancellation fees are applied as compensation for reserved time and must be paid within 24 hours of billing.

11. Right to Refuse or Terminate Services
The Company reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate Services at any time due to safety concerns, late payment, failed payment, non-payment, or any other reason deemed appropriate.

12. Media Release
Client grants permission for the Company to use photographs of Client’s pet(s) for marketing, promotional, website, and social media purposes.

13. Ongoing Authorization
This Agreement serves as continuing authorization for the Company to accept and provide future Services without requiring additional signed agreements.

14. Applicability to All Pets
This Agreement applies to all pets currently owned by the Client and any pets acquired after execution of this Agreement.

15. Acknowledgment
Client acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to be bound by this Agreement, including all payment terms, cancellation provisions, and Oregon-specific enforcement clauses.
